Dear Jedi Masters,

You guys are the driving force behind everything we love about this show. There's so much about Fringe that's perfect, but it all starts and ends with the brilliant story you're telling us. Science fiction is always a great medium through which to examine what makes people tick, and you guys use it for that very well. Your story is about people who are trying to save two universes, an epic undertaking in itself, but you also continually remind us why these two universes are worth saving. It's the people in them that are worth fighting for, and you never let us forget that. You do a beautiful job of showing us the effects we have on each other, and taking Peter out of the story to illustrate that point was a bold and glorious move. You challenge us on a weekly basis, not only to follow where you lead, but to see the things you're trying to show us, and the ways they reflect our own reality. It's a story full of love and compassion and a repudiation of despair. You and your incredible staff of writers give us tales of people, and the bonds between them, and the lengths to which we'll go to save those bonds. It engenders a fantastic sense of hope in us, and we love you for it.

We also love the way you are with us. We're constantly amazed at how in touch you guys are with your fan base. We love tweeting with you, and knowing that we're on your minds when you set out to communicate the things you have to say. Maybe it's presumptuous, but we feel that you're not just telling a story, you're telling it to us. This project has been in the works for a while now, and when Jeff said “This is our Emmys” at Comic Con, we giggled. We wanted to do this because Fringe means so very much to us; you're telling us wonderful things, and we're listening. It's a very special story, with a very special cast bringing it to life, and we're privileged to be along for the ride. We'll follow wherever you lead, we trust you. Please say what you have to say, tell the story you want to tell, and don't worry about losing us: we're not going anywhere. Thank you so much for bringing us this amazing show, we're truly grateful for every episode.
