Hey Kelly,
To me, G+ is really the best of "both" worlds! I think of it as a mashup between Twitter & Facebook. The stream is just like Twitter's Timeline
(or FB Status Updates) without the 140 character limit. You also have #hashtags, and not only are they "searchable" in Google+ but in
regular Google as well. I think I mentioned before if you go to Google.com and type "Fringe" you will not only see our +Fringe Circle page listed but the top "Fringe" people that post about it
(Harris and I in the example below). Naturally, this is all quite new but
imagine what this means as far as visibility for "Fringe" via searches on Google.
As far as what works in the G+ space, since I discovered you guys, I've been sharing all the campaign posts and results at the page. I've seen many people join the Friday Twitter Events and share the event info at G+
People seem to enjoy the
post-show discussions which sometimes exceed 100 comments, like this one for "Enemy of My Enemy"
https://plus.google.com/113021115419885 ... hq8mpd5fBxThey also love pictures (behind the scenes) & videos of course, those get tons of
+1 (which is G+'s LIKE button). We share articles/interviews about "Fringe" from all over the web, they like those too.
The LIVE Mobile 'huddles' (or text chats) have not taken off so far. Possibly because Fringe is on Friday nights (same issue as LIVE Viewing) and people are out for the night starting their weekend. Our Walking Dead and American Horror Story chats had anywhere from 75 to 115 people for the season finales. They were fun!
Anyway, this Google+ page is for
all of us and I consider it an extension of what you guys are doing with this website. Whenever you are ready to take Google+ for a spin, please feel free to ask. I'm here to help!
Thanks
