PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE RESPONDING!
Attacks or disrespect to Mr. Roth or Warner Brothers will not be tolerated, and abusive comments will be removed.
Several people have expressed interest in writing to Mr. Roth themselves to express their appreciation for Fringe, and their hopes that negotiations for a fifth season will go well. Since the information is already available on the internet, we've decided to go ahead and share the address we have for him, along with a few tips/guidelines we'd like to share as well:
"We’ve discussed the tradition of writing letters to Mr. Peter Roth, Warner Brothers Entertainment President. However, renewal talks are reportedly already in the works. So, we at Fringenuity have an URGENT Amber Alert for Fringe fans.
We need your comments about why Fringe deserves a fifth season, whether on FOX, or another venue.
There are a few ground rules to ensure a positive and effective message for the President of Warner Brothers Entertainment.
Be Respectful In Your Tone
Mr. Roth has been nothing but an ally for Fringe. We want to show him why our small, but loyal fandom is worth taking into consideration.
With this in mind, it goes without saying - please do not threaten Warner Brothers with a boycott if renewal talks are not favorable. WB is a business first and foremost, and they do love Fringe. Showing the best side of our fan base is the route to take.
Please Include Some Information About Yourself
Because demographics are important. Details such as how old you are and your gender if you’re comfortable sharing that information. Fringe has a varied base of fans from all over the world. All different ages, too. No anonymous comments, please. Sign using some form of your name, or with your Twitter username.
This is a great way for international fans to make their voice heard!
Explain Why You Love Fringe and Why You Think It Deserves a Fifth Season
Be thoughtful and detailed in your response. Do you love the characters? Explain why. How about the stories? The relationships? The cases? Do all of the little details such as the Observer, and the neat Easter eggs matter to you? The special effects? Even speak about the music if you love it.
Maybe tell him what your favorite Fringe character and/or episode is, and why.
If You Have Purchased Fringe Products, Mention It
The DVDs and Blu-Rays are important products, as well as iTunes and Amazon.com downloads. If you buy the comics, mention those. Let him also know that Fringe fans would buy more official merchandise if it was available.
This is your chance to show one of the main decision makers about Fringe’s future exactly how invested we are in the show - how grateful we are for seeing this story unfold over four seasons - how much a fifth season would be appreciated."
Please feel free to post letters/comments in this thread. We'll compile them all and pass them along. Or if you're more comfortable sending a letter on your own, you can send them to:
