Ambergram Status Update! (And about time too!)

Tonight we follow Walter (and Peter) down the rabbit hole…
In the mean time, things are very much in motion! The coins have arrived, I’m driving down to Austin to pick up the slabs tomorrow, and thank you cards are in production.
In case anyone hasn’t seen them yet, here are the photos of the engraved slabs, coins, and cards:

And because it takes a lot of trust to send money to strangers over the internet, I want to give you guys total transparency, so here are all of our receipts so far:
So far we’ve raised a total of $3096.04. Unfreakingbelievable.
We’ve spent:
$1225.00 on challenge coins
$760.00 on Ambergrams
$187.01 on thank you cards
And I’ve withdrawn $300 to cover shipping costs. Hopefully(!) this is an overly generous allowance and we’ll be able to put back what we don’t need, but we are sending stuff to multiple locations, including one (probably?) to Australia. 🙁
And they’re fragile, so we’ll need to baby them.
I’ve adjusted the cash-o-meter thingy to reflect the current balance left in the Paypal account. Our new challenge to you is to help us meet our new goal of at least $1000 in charitable donations.Toward that end, we’re happy to offer some nifty incentives – details will be posted shortly, as soon as we can assess our resources. Stay tuned! And those of you who’ve already donated so generously, don’t worry, sponsor packages will be cumulative and retroactive.
Fringe fans are good people, and they want to help wherever possible. We had four very worthy causes to start with, and then we had a natural disaster. Hurricane Sandy killed more than 100 people, and left tens of thousands homeless, with Brutus coming hard on its heels. It has also affected several of our wonderful and beloved Fringies. In light of the disaster, it seems reasonable to reassess our initial intentions, but this is not a decision we could ever make on our own, so once again we’re asking for your input. Please take a moment to give us your feedback on a potential change in our charity fund designations.

Wow,these are outstanding!! The only thing is i cannot read what it is imprinted on the back of the coin? I voted to split it equally,i went through Sandy,and although i didn’t lose everything,i lost enough.
I’m sory to hear that you were affected by Sandy. I hope life gets back to normal soon.

There’s a donation button at the top right of the page. 🙂
If you’re on a mobile, you may have to switch to the desktop setting to see it. On mine (iPhone) I have to scroll to the bottom and select “desktop”, and then scroll back to the top and there’s a little thing in the top right that says “full” – and then the widgets show up. 😉
Is there any way you can change the donation thingy to accept direct debit? I’m not from the US and I’m under 18 so I have neither paypal nor visa. I know it’s probably too late, but I’d really like to contribute, i just can’t do it unless you adjust the payment method, sorry 🙁
