   January 13, 2013 marks the anniversary of the very first Twitter event launched by this humble blog and its circle of geeky conspirators. Friday was a very emotional day for Fringe fans, on many levels. Cast and crew had worked all through Thursday night and well into Friday morning in order to complete the show’s final scenes. “The Fringe Event was a fan event for the TV show Fringe, held in Vancouver from August 10-12 2012. It hosted fans from all over the world and brought most of them together for the first time, even though most of us talk via social media every day. Ambergram charitable donations have been made!! $1600 raised for six causes.

Project Ambergram is almost concluded, with the last of the gifts themselves being delivered to cast and crew shortly. In the mean time, all of our charitable donations have been made! After an ad hoc Twitter poll conducted yesterday, we decided the fairest way to designate the funds was to split them between all charities, giving weight to Alzheimer’s research, our twice previous poll winner.
